Linda Sittler PMHNP-BC
Linda Sittler brings more than a decade of nursing experience with a strong focus on evidence-based, patient-centered care. For the past nine years, she has specialized in addiction medicine and substance use treatment, providing compassionate and clinically grounded care across the full continuum of recovery services, including hospital-based detoxification units, residential detox and treatment programs, and outpatient levels of care. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) licensed in California, Linda integrates psychiatric and addiction treatment to provide a comprehensive, whole-person approach to care for individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders.
Currently servicing detox, residential, and outpatient treatment programs, Linda provides clinical consulting, nursing oversight, and operational support for addiction treatment facilities throughout Los Angeles County. Her responsibilities include developing and implementing nursing protocols, completing intake assessments and clinical documentation within 24 hours of admission, educating patients on treatment options and medication management, and auditing provider medication orders across multiple EMR systems including EPIC, Cerner, KIPU, and BetterNotes. She also provides weekly in-person and telehealth clinical services with 24/7 on-call nursing and medical consultation for facility staff while facilitating communication between practitioners and treatment teams to support continuity of care.
Throughout her career, Linda has remained passionate about education, mentorship, and clinical leadership. She develops and provides staff training on IMS-room protocols, emergency response procedures, overdose awareness, Narcan administration, seizure management, and monthly staff education programs. She also trains staff on KIPU workflows and community overdose prevention initiatives. Linda is deeply committed to improving outcomes for individuals struggling with addiction while continuing to advocate for ethical, evidence-based treatment and the advancement of healthcare professionals in the behavioral health field.
